Zen Heart Foot & Body Massage

I did the foot massage and I feel like I got a lot more than what I was expecting. I had been having some neck contractions that have been involuntary for four days and after the massage I only had two involuntary contractions in my neck and then it stopped. I felt so much better after. And it is so affordable! They also were so kind and friendly. I was only visiting the area but if I lived here I would become a regular.

I liked the massage, it was relaxing. They also used hot stones in the massage which I really liked. The service and atmosphere was good too.

I called in to book an appointment and the receptionist said $70. The experience was great and everyone was nice. After I went to the front desk to pay and I gave her $80 with the tip included. She pointed at the wall which said that anything over $70 you must pay a 20% tip. I didn't have any change so I felt very forced to give her an extra $20 instead of $10. Tips are supposed to be subjective. If you really want to make sure your employees are paid well then you have to raise your prices at front so we don't get surprised in the end with any "extra fees". Because of this, I will not be returning.

Like another person posted about the owner pointing to the wall to suggest leaving a bigger tip. I told her she got what I thought was appropriate which was $10 extra. If you think they should be guaranteed more than they should be given a raise.

This place is great. I got the large combo done on Tuesday. It included 1 hr body massage and 45 minute foot work. I fell asleep during the foot massage but I'm sure it was lovely. The feet stuff included arms, and shoulders and head. The full body was amazing too. At one point the massage therapist even got up on top of me to work my back better. That weirded me out for a second but I realized it enabled her to work all my pain out better. I told her about my chronic mid to lower back pain and she focused her efforts and relieved the pain and pressure. The price was great for the work/time put into it. I also recommended them to friends and family. I can't wait to visit California again and go straight there =)
