Zak Dental - San Diego

I was in search for a dentist after a horrific visit with a different group. After praying, I found Zak. Such a wonderful find. I was treated with respect and kindness as soon as I walked in the door. Actually, as soon as I called them! The woman that took my call, listened with care and genuine concern for my needs. She got me in to see a dentist right away. Everyone, from reception , xray technician , dentist and even billing were attentive, kind and patient. It was my first visit. So far, I'm highly impressed. I have several future appointments. I'll keep you updated. I think, I'll only have praise for them.

I had a wonderful experience at Zack Dental Clinic. The staff were kind, patient, and welcoming. The dentist was gentle and took time to explain the procedure. The clinic is clean and organized. I truly appreciate their excellent service — highly recommend!

Lucia is the very best hygienist! She genuinely cares about her patients and their comfort. Since my childhood, I have had and continue to have a phobia about the dentist office. I honestly feel safe under her care!

I receive consistently good service. Staff is always friendly. They use top of the line tools & methods of diagnosis. The only thing I don’t like is the virtual exam. I’d rather been by a real dentist at my appointment.

I went to Zak Dental (Ruffin Road, San Diego) in May 2025 for a routine checkup after my longtime dentist’s office closed. Nothing hurt. No tooth pain, no problems—just a normal visit. After X-rays, I wasn’t seen in a typical exam format. Instead, there was a virtual consultation, and I was immediately told I needed two crowns. The message was delivered with a strong sense of urgency, and I felt pressured to move forward. They charged me about $2,000 on the spot. At the next visit, I received temporary crowns that made both teeth sensitive, and the temporaries came off multiple times before I returned for the permanent crowns.
