Young Family Dental Orem

I called to schedule my appointment and specifically asked about the cost. I was asked for my insurance information and was told that the visit would be fully covered. Two weeks ago, I had my evaluation for a dental cleaning. During that appointment, I was informed that I needed a deep cleaning and was told to return in two weeks. Again, I asked about the cost and was reassured that the cleaning would be covered by my insurance. Today, after the procedure was completed, I was unexpectedly charged $400. My main concern is the lack of transparency. When a patient asks about pricing, they deserve clear and accurate information so they can make an informed decision and determine whether the treatment fits their budget. I recently had a crown done here, and the entire process was smoother than I expected. Scheduling was easy, and they got me in quickly when I called. The office is very clean and has a calming atmosphere. The dentist explained why I needed the crown and walked me through each step so there were no surprises. What really stood out to me was how attentive everyone was — they kept checking to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. After the appointment, they even followed up to see how I was feeling. That level of care is rare these days, and it meant a lot to me.

Jared and Dr John Gervasi were so amazing. They walked me through everything and made sure that I was comfortable and understood everything that was happening. I would highly recommend them. I truly cannot say enough about how amazing they were. I would give them both 100 stars if I could.

This dentist office is absolutely amazing. The entire staff, reception, dentists, dental assistants etc are so professional and so REAL. I really appreciate that so much. Everyone is kind and makes you feel relaxed and welcome and comfortable. They do great work. They are great listeners and they care a lot about your teeth and well being and getting those pre authorizations taken care of promptly for you etc. Amazing work. We had such a great experience at Young Family Dental Orem. The entire staff was welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind from the moment we walked in. The office is clean, modern, and very family-friendly, which immediately put us at ease. The dentist took the time to explain everything clearly and never made us feel rushed or pressured. They were especially wonderful with kids—calm, gentle, and great at making the visit feel fun instead of scary. It’s obvious they truly care about their patients and their comfort. We’re so happy to have found a dental office we can trust and will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend for families looking for excellent, compassionate dental care!
