Kiko (my 14-year-old rescue who is a miniature dachshund) has seen 3 different primary vets over the course of his life. York Animal Hospital is unlike any other vet. The other places were great, but York is on another level. They are open so late. They answer every call. I’ve spoken with the vet techs many times without additional charges. They handle everything with care, and it’s consistent. There are no caveats with the level of care no matter which vet you see, which vet tech helps you, or which receptionist checks you in/out. Even after I moved away, they were able to mail us medicine and answer my questions before I could transition to a new vet. I miss them already.

We love York Animal Hospital. I appreciate that they have evening hours a few days a week, and the vets and staff are so great. We recently had to help our almost 14yo pup cross the rainbow bridge and they were absolutely wonderful about everything - I cannot thank them enough

By far and large the absolute best veterinarian on this planet. Everyone who works here has a true heart for animals. This animal hospital is beyond wonderful on a good day when you are coming in for a routine visit. It’s almost like they love your fur baby as much as you do. When it comes to a different kind of appointment I have never experienced such a respectful and loving experience when having to deal with the harder part of fur parenting. I would never take my fur babies anywhere but here!!

Very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Whenever there is any extra work that needs to be done to your pet, they are upfront about pricing and never try to sell you products or services that aren't necessary. I've been taking my pets there for years and they have always done a wonderful job.
