York Animal Hospital

10 stars!!!! Twice now in a pinch they have provided the best care for us. I can't recommend enough...The nicest, most nurturing vets possible with our pups!!!

York Animal Hospital, well I was a client with Dr. Thompson. He was a great vet with my older girl. I raced to the vet more often than I want to recall if there was a change with her- at all. She was 14 of course things were different. He was compassionate, the entire staff was. They were gentle and a great crew. Then came Dr Bill and Dr Barb. I don’t do well with change. Reluctantly I tried them out. They are so great! They are a perfect blend of your old school neighborhood Vet with more advanced approaches, guidance, and medicine. I absolutely love York Animal Hospital and could go on and on about them. I stayed with them when we moved to the top of midcoast-maine. It was about 2 hours each way. My dog and I had a fantastic experience with York Animal Hospital. They were wonderful and provided a calm environment during the exam, and were very professional. I was incredibly grateful for the thorough walk-through of my dog's health and wellness. Highly recommend York Animal Hospital!

Dr Bill is a sound, positive veterinarian. I'm glad that he's younger than me! 😊 His staff is competent and cheery.

My daughters and I had to put our 15 year old dog down, we were treated with such kindness and compassion. Dr Bill and his staff went above and beyond to give us the time we needed with such kind words. Truly an incredible team and I am so grateful they could fit us in.
