Yoakum Community Hospital

Absolute jokes work here, my kid had some wood lodged in his foot about 2 inches in, I took it out and bandaged it before we went in. They made a crying baby sit there for an hour and a half, and when the “Dr” walked in, he didn’t clean it, or even know what a foot was from a hand…. These guys are just there for a pay check, and don’t care about the well being of humans. Better not be dying before going here, cause there won’t be any saving you.

Just hospitalized for a 24 hr observation. The efficiency of the personnel was amazing. Tests were done even as they were getting me to my room. I was severely dehydrated so I needed an IV the nursing care was beyond my expectations. The food was better than expected. I will use this hospital in the future. Thanks to everyone who cared for me

I was here for two back surgeries w/Dr. Z in Jan and Feb 2024. The nurses, care and food were excellent! I am now a retired med pro, after 35 years service, and I’d heard some “iffy” reports about this hospital from cpl in Victoria, so was a wee bit concerned, but Dr’s choice. Colleagues were dead wrong 😑! This hospital and staff were excellent, providing top quality services before, during and after. Thank you ☺️.

Such a wonderful hospital here in the country. Everyone here is kind and gracious happily helping you with whatever you may need. From the wonderful nurses to the staff that clean your room everyone has a great attitude and is amazing at their job. I’ve been here 6 weeks recovering in the Swing Bed program from double ankle surgery. Their Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy is one of the best!! five stars!! They also have great doctors that have your health in mind . 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!
