After breaking a 3 tooth bridge and unable to re-attach it I was very concerned I would have to go with implants, which I really didn’t want to do. After an initial consultation with Dr Alex he took the time to explain another option where I’d be able to have another bridge made after a simple root canal procedure. I completely felt at ease after the consultation and immediately made an appointment for the procedure. Many thanks to Barb at the front desk for getting me scheduled in a timely manner!👍

My dentist referred me to Dr. Troxel for a root canal procedure, which took place yesterday morning. My first compliment goes to Barb, who manages the office. When I called to schedule the appointment, Dr. Troxel had not yet received the necessary scans from my dentist. Barb took ownership of chasing the files down for me, kept me updated on her progress, and was able to get me scheduled within a couple of days. I haven’t had a root canal in decades and was very nervous. Dr. Troxel very patiently explained every part of the procedure to me, helping me to feel prepared for everything I was going to experience. He and his assistant Sophie were gentle, and calming. While it was uncomfortable to undergo the procedure - lying still for so long while being worked on - it was not a painful

I just had a root canal performed by Dr Troxel. I wasn’t sure of the need, and he walked me through the x-rays and reasons why it was necessary. Very thorough, objective and convincing. Once the procedure started, he informed me in great detail throughout the process, about what to expect and what I would be feeling. He and his assistant, Sadie, completed the root canal efficiently and very effectively. I would highly recommend him for anyone in need of Endodontic care in Steamboat!

I delayed getting a root canal because I was worried about the procedure so I needlessly experienced months of discomfort and inflammation for absolutely no reason. After having the procedure this past week, my tooth/mouth feels great and is quickly healing. Dr. Troxel thoroughly explained everything to me beforehand and checked in on my comfort level several times during the procedure. This was about as good an experience that I could have hoped for. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Troxel and his staff to anyone in need of endodontic treatment.
