TERRIBLE Customer service. Good luck making an appointment, they will tell you that the next appt is 6 months away! They have ZERO compassion for patients, do not care about patients, are not in the HEALTH CARE business, they are in the MONEY MAKING business. This organization is an absolute joke.

#1- be sure Yale New Haven Hospital's Emergency Department puts the correct information on your discharge paperwork. #2- Expect this office to have terrible customer service and lack even an ounce of compassion or care for people. #3- They don't have any appointments for new patients for 6 months, so don't even bother. (you will probably die before they decide to see you) #4- symptoms that would be considered "serious", "life-threatening" or "requires immediate attention"; are ignored here; ie: internal bleeding. They will not listen to you, They will not help you, they do not care. Save your time, your stress, your health and your life and AVOID YALE. Go somewhere else.

My daughter was sickly covid so I had to reschedule the appointment they booked it like 4 and 1/2 months I told them she can't wait that long but they didn't seem to care I guess it's time to find a new doctor

My daughter has had digestive issues for many many years. We’ve been in major and not so major hospitals all over the east coast. Never in all of our hospitalizations have we experienced the lack of hygiene caused by the cleaning staff. Her room is generally filthy with the floor and surfaces never really cleaned. No serious wiping down with bacterial wipes , never mopping of floors . Only once in awhile a bit of sweeping. The bathroom is rarely cleaned sufficiently. Never in all the time I visit with her is it really cleaned. I have never ever seen this kind of neglect. Her room has several patients in it and for a supposed first rate hospital it’s embarrassing. Cluttered and crowded with a squeezed in one little chair. No closet in the room and the window sills are packed with patients b

So my mother is been a patient at Yale for the last 30 years in as worked as a condition for Fair Haven Health Clinic in amazes me in this day and age that I can pick up the phone and call these people for her to get seen and they have not changed a bit. They meaning the call center and I guess the nurses that answer these phone calls and in the operators themselves, they are rude, inconsiderate, and loud instead of talking in a calm tone and understanding why you’re calling instead of assuming you already know, put yourselves in a patient’s position. We are in an epidemic, whether you choose to believe it or not, and Yale has not changed any of his ways I will not go to Yale. I have not gone in the past five years because of this, but my mother and sis don’t ask me why. Do you people need
