Xpress Urgent Care - Kissimmee (Opening Soon)

Med Florida all staff speak Spanish. No one speaks English as a first language. The staff is extremely intelligent and incompetent. The Dr is ok but ether the staff don’t request documents or work order or the Dr don’t send the info to their staff. I had to call to get them to send the documents to get an mri done. I never got a call to go bc they never sent the paperwork. I had to do blood work and biopsies bc I have cancer. They never sent to work order to advent health for me to do the blood work. I had to pick up my paper work here then bring to advent health to do my blood work. Then take me blood work test results to my cancer Dr bc they never sent it to him. Then my paper from my blood work and documentation was never sent to my cancer Dr. so I had to pick up my results and record t

I called and spoke with guest services about this location. She suggested I go first thing in the morning or early afternoon for no wait times. The next day I made special arrangements to set time aside to drive here. When I reached the location there was no separate building. I went inside MidFlorida to ask where urgent care was. I was told by the receptionist they were closed. I asked was that just today or permanently. She replied it was permanent. I do appreciate her giving me a list with other urgent care locations nearby. However there is some very poor communication between their call center and the owner of this facility. I wasted precious time coming here and money on gas to arrive to a closed business when I was told clearly it was open.

This is not a walk-in urgent care facility. You have to make an appointment. In other words, it's not for urgent matters. Talk about false advertising. I called my insurance and asked they be removed from list of providers.
