I am very unhappy about the services I got from the Wyomissing Optometric Center Douglassville. The doctors were great and provided professional, friendly and prompt service. However, the staff was rude, difficult and passive aggressive. They seemed to have forgotten that the reason they are there is to provide service to patients. They are there for me, not the other way around. On the phone I never got 1 thank you, seems they don’t know how to say those words. As a paying patient I will be taking my money to other places as I refuse to give my money to ignorant, rude and passive aggressive people. I complained about the staff to the doctor while I was there (the were loudly trashing an employee, and I heard it all). Today, I called to speak to the manager and I was not surprised

We've always enjoyed the care the doctors here have provided, but we have had too many encounters with rude front desk staff to continue going. It would be one thing if it was one isolated instance, but they seem to go out of their way to be non-accommodating and rude. You would think the people that pay for services that help pay their paychecks could be treated better than inconveniences.

Been going here for years for my annual eye exam. The Drs all have been great. Staff is very friendly and professional. I often get my glasses there too and the guy who helped me last time was really knowledgeable and helped me get glasses that fit me perfectly. Also the progressive lenses were measured perfectly and were exactly correct the first try when I picked them up.

I went to the Douglassville office and let me tell you, WHAT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE! From the staff at check-in too the staff/ doctor helping with my exam and fitting me for glasses-outstanding, kind & caring. This will defiantly be my new place for eye care as well as my families. When I called for an appointment they were booked until January 5, which I understood, but then the receptionist noticed a cancellation for 6:20 for same night I called, so I took it! I just can’t say enough about my experience here. Thank you to all.

As long as I’m living within an hour of this location, I will always go here for the rest of my life. I would actually be willing to travel from further once a year. The ladies there are awesome, especially Jackie! If you’re considering checking this location out, just do it.
