Wound Doctor - Physicians and Surgeons Wound Care

Physicians and Surgeons Wound Care has been a mix of good and bad. The scheduling for this group has been a nightmare. They call the day before they are coming with a two hour window, and 3 out of 4 times they come after the time they promise. Once they didn't show at all. The PAs who have come to take care of my son have been competent. However, they never called in the prescription my son needed, and each time they came to the house, they asked why we didn't have it. I kept saying they didn't call it in, but nothing ever changed. In addition, my son had a medical issue that I called about on their urgent line, and they never returned my call. For bedside manner, I give them a 4. For medical care, I give them a 3. For communication, they get 0 stars. For scheduling they get a big fat 0.

Google shows the hours as 6 am - 10 pm 7 days a week. NOT TRUE. Not possible when your call on Saturday with a request for an urgent call back and receive no return call until Tuesday (and that is just to schedule your next appointment). Doctors and nurses at the home have been great, time for new administration and back office.

I highly recommend Physicians and Surgeons Wound Care to everyone who wants competent, caring, and smart professionals to help them with their wound care needs. They seem to stay up on the latest treatments, which is important. They're also very dependable, and they have a nice way of dealing with patients like me. Lots of praise for all these great people who've been helping me: Nurse Practitioner Lilian, Jen the Clinical Coordinator Nurse, Nathan the MD, Jayo and Chaya--medical Assistants. And I can't forget Gina in the front office, who's always been especially kind and caring to me when setting up appointments.
