Worthington Pediatric Dentists

Office is nice but billing is a nightmare. Don’t trust you’re covered even if they take your insurance. I called prior to scheduling an apt for my 3 year old son to ensure my insurance would be taken. I was assured they did accept my insurance and everything was fine. We went to our appointment. The dental hygienist was very patient and sweet with my son. We very much enjoyed her. My son enjoyed picking out a prize at the end. Fast forward to about two months later, I got a bill over $200 when I reached out to ask about it I was told that they do take my insurance, but only once the child is over 10. I did express I was unsatisfied with that answer as I’ve never heard that before. I gave them my primary health insurance to see if it may be covered under that. I did not hear back from them.

Our experience at the dental clinic was truly excellent. I want to thank Dr. Chien for her kindness, patience, and the genuine care she showed for my daughter. She explained every step calmly and made my daughter feel comfortable and safe during the treatment. I also want to thank the rest of the staff for being friendly, organized, and welcoming. Overall, it was a very positive visit, and I highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Chein to any parent looking for great dental care for their children

Overall, my visit to the dental clinic was good. However, the nurse who worked with my daughter did not come out to speak with me or provide feedback, as the other staff members did with the rest of the patients. I am not sure of the reason for this. This was especially concerning since my daughter requires special care and close follow-up for her dental needs. Overall, I would like to thank the medical staff for their efforts.

My children had teeth cleaning appointments this past week at 3pm on Thursday . Their bus was running late, which does happen unfortunately with traffic. I called ahead in the car to let the office know we were on our way. The kind receptionist for dentistry I spoke to said she they understood and they said that they had a 15 minute grace policy. However, when we got there, the receptionist for the orthodontics announced that we would just need to reschedule the appointment, and we wouldn’t be able to get in until late January. When I pointed out their policy, she literally said “it’s 3:16.” When I told her we were within the 15 minute grace period, she literally asked why didn’t I just pick them up from school early to get there on time. My 3 daughters have went here since their very first trip to the dentist, and we love it! The staff cares and has compassion and haven't met one that doesn't have patience and treats each kid as an individual! Everyone from front desk, to back has always treated us as a whole family wit so much respect and will always take the time to explain things in details! I couldn't imagine my kids going anywhere else! Thank you all for being the best!
