Work Lotus

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about my 30 day stay here. Let me share with you a little back story in 2019 I had to go to a rehabilitation center in the downtown area and to say I left pretty traumatized is to say the very least. So when I was told I had to go again all I could remember was that past experience. I was given a list of choices. I did my research. Aside from some comments in the reviews I chose to come to Lotus, a bit anxious not going to lie. HOWEVER, from the moment I came in (and I arrived in the late night hours) I was made to feel so welcomed. The next morning staff members started pouring in. They introduced themselves, what their roles were and made themselves available at any time. From there on out for the next 30 days I have been showered with attention

I would not recommend Lotus Rehab on Lake Underhill.First of all, they lost my husband. More below… My husband was worse off after a 2 week stay for rehab. It was awful and he died 2 weeks later. Lotus didn’t give him the rehab he needed. Nurse’s wouldn’t come when you hit the emergency button. You could die from a heart attack, etc. He lost all leg strength after leaving Lotus. My husband died exerting himself when trying to get in the car. If he had leg strength he wouldn’t have exerted himself. It’s taken me 4 months to write this review. I’m grieving so much. While in Lotus Rehab for stroke rehab, his hand swelled up the worse it’s ever been. I took pictures Friday night before he was being discharged on the following Monday. Nobody wants to hear words like Nursing Home or Rehabilitation Center. I was very skeptical when my sister was transferred to Lotus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Our stay here so far has proven me wrong. They have an excellent group of nurses and therapists. Five stars goes to Orieta, Dana, Juan and Hoon.

I've had my grandfather at the new Lotus for 3 years. Only now have I seen so much positive change. New leadership, many new kind faces. The food is even getting better. We have more options now. It's so clean and now they got new furniture and wood floors. The staff is caring and always willing to help. They have a hard job but they take care of my grandfather with a smile. He loves when the singers come for happy hour. Thank you to team Lotus!

The nurse are awesome. They have been taking great care of my mom. The lead person Orieta is awesome. She is very friendly and helps everyone.
