Woodland Animal Clinic

I recently made the switch to Woodland Animal Clinic in DeLand, and I am so glad I did. I was previously at another clinic where the staff simply didn’t have the patience my golden doodle puppy needed. As any doodle owner knows — they are sweet, energetic, and still learning! From the moment we walked into Woodland, the difference was clear. The office was extremely clean and well organized, which immediately put me at ease. The veterinarians and vet techs were incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with my sweet boy. They took their time, explained everything thoroughly, and never made us feel rushed. Even the front desk staff were phenomenal. They were warm, welcoming, and interacted with my pup in the sweetest way — at one point they even let him “stand up and place his cheeseburger ord

Dr. Alex is the absolute BEST vet we have EVER had((and we have had many from moving around a lot))!! He is not only personable and kind, he takes his time and asks lots of questions. Incredibly knowledgeable—just impresses me every time!! He is honest with treatments, options, and diagnosis possibilities as well.

I absolutely love Woodland Animal Clinic and will not go anywhere else. If you don’t fully trust your current vet, I highly recommend giving them a try. There was one occasion where I was frustrated due to a long wait because I needed to get back to the office, and I didn’t handle it as gracefully as I should have. Once I expressed my concerns, the staff was prompt, understanding, and incredibly kind. I later apologized to everyone, and they were nothing but forgiving. That experience is exactly why I remain loyal to Woodland Animal Clinic. They treat me and my animals like family, and that means everything.

We took our kitty here for a regular checkup and had a great experience! It was easy to schedule an appointment over the phone, and check-in on arrival was smooth. Dr. A is awesome and was very attentive, answering questions and explaining results of blood work over the phone a couple days later. Definitely recommend!

I can not recommend this place enough. I started using this vet almost 10 years ago when I got my puppy. I had moved away for quite a while but I had some serious concerns and after seeing and emergency vet with no help or empathy I gave woodland a call. From beginning to end this vet was amazing. Very empathetic. You can tell they really care about the pet and the owner here. I will forever be grateful for the way they handled everything for me.
