Women’s Building of Christiana Hospital

After two deliveries at Christiana I have to take a moment to applaude the staff. Everyone from the security and reception to the nurses, midwives and doctors were nothing short of phenomenal. Every interaction we had during our stay, which totaled about 5 days, was so kind and helpful. We were admitted after reaching 42 weeks and a questionable ultrasound.. I absolutely did not want to be induced and was extremely nervous and upset. Everyone was so kind and patient. The residents, doctors and midwives NEVER pressured me to make any decisions I wasn't completely on board with. They gave us their advice and then left us to make our own decisions without the pressure and for that we were extremely grateful. I had had a wonderful experience with my first delivery with Dr Cooksey and Katie Man

I would like to suggest hospital management to more escort staff. My wife was taken for x-ray from triage room. After she was done with the test. She was sitting for hours there. Unfortunately she left phone with me in her triage room. She has to come back with escort from x-ray room but no one came to pick her. Also, I was not allowed to go there. This was a mess why patient has to sit after test for hours in front of test lab. Staff is overall nice.

I can’t say enough about the amazing employees at Christiana Care and the endless support they provided during my wife’s labor. From triage, to labor and delivery, to postpartum to the NICU our experience while difficult was extremely benefited by the knowledgeable and supportive nurses at every step. It would have been impossible for us to navigate this difficult week without them and we are forever grateful.

Stuff at the woman’s ER is great,loved how sweet everyone treated me the last 10 days trying to figure out what is going on.Thankful for the sweetest lab test lady, Mel !I Appreciate your hard work!E.K
