WiseCare urgent Care

Carolyn is Great!!! I have seen her multiple times and never had a bad experience! She is super friendly and down to earth! Wait times are normally great. They told me 30 to 45 minutes and to my surprise I was in a room probably within 15. The only reason I took off one star is because the front desk people are hit or miss. I get everybody has a bad day and doesn’t wanna be at work sometimes. Oh, and I was in a peds room this time. You may want to put some money into new wall decals 😉 simple but says alot

Hi all! This is your warning to not receive treatment (or no treatment) from WiseCare Urgent Care in Pasadena. I was up at 2 in the morning with severe ear pain, headache, body aches and chills so in the middle of the night, I booked an appointment with the urgent care at 9am. When I walked in, the front desk was extremely pleasant and kind. They had immediately processed my $100 co-pay. I had relayed my symptoms to the MA which were then relayed to the doctor, I assume. The doctor came into the exam room, only checked my ears and my heart. He did not offer a Covid, Flu, or Strep test. The doctor only advised that my sypmtoms were due to allergies and congestion which Claritin D and cough medicine were suggested. I was not given any discharge paperwork, only a work/school note. I made an appointment for Sunday night 7:45 & received a call that I would need to pay $100 out of pocket for eye staining because Cigna doesn't cover this procedure. This seemed odd to me as it's a diagnostic medical test. I contacted Cigna directly and they stated this was a covered service under my plan. I can only assume I was provided this disinformation because it was close to closing and the staff didn't want a last minute patient. So if you need care on a Sunday hopefully it won't be st the end of the day.

Love this location. Great with kids. They always get me in and out in a timely manner staff is always kind no complaints anytime I’ve ever went here.

The wait time was not very long. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The nurse was very attentive and friendly. She covered everything the doctor needed for proper treatment. The Doctor I really liked and felt comfortable with. She treated me, and gave very good advice for the aftercare. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. I left feeling confident that I would be fine. I will be going there again when I need urgent care.
