Dear Care Team, I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care my husband received during his recent colon surgery and two-night stay. From the moment he arrived, he felt safe, well cared for, and truly supported. Every interaction reflected compassion, professionalism, and genuine kindness, which made a stressful experience so much easier for both of us. We would especially like to recognize the following staff members who went above and beyond: Mollie Amber Brooke Danesha Natalie Carmel Dr. Aronski Each of you made a meaningful difference in my husband’s recovery and comfort, and we are incredibly thankful for your attentiveness and dedication. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in his care. We are so grateful to have experienced
My dad went to the hospital in critical condition due to nursing home neglect and abuse, but winter haven hospital ICU R3 was amazing. I can't even express how kind, loving, gental, amazing and compassionate they were. I came in from alabama my daughter was there with him and they did everything to keep him alive until I got there. They treated us like family and the hugs they gave us weren't fake you could feel their love for every patient and family. It was a very hard 24 hours I wish I could remember their names but let me say this those women were amazing nurses. They even took care of us not just my dad. I will forever be grateful to them for all they did for us in the short time we were there. After we had the vent removed they made his transition flawless. Thank you to the nurses and
I want to be very honest about my stay at Winter Haven Hospital. I came into the ER with shortness of breath. The ER team took care of me immediately check in my blood pressure and everything else that needed to be done. Dr. Shelton in the ER was my doctor. He was thorough and told me that I’m being admitted because of a heart attack. The staff in the ER was fantastic thank you ER. I was brought up to the fifth floor, which is cardio unit. The staff that night did a fantastic job making me feel comfortable. I was scared to death. I did not sleep that well due to being so scared. In the morning the nurses were doing everything they could to make me feel comfortable. Shelley super duper.. They all did a fantastic job, but a few went above and beyond, and I’d like to say how compassionate a
I got there via ambulance due to low SPO2 and an odd rhythm with my hear rate. First, they took me to the triage area. The paramedics told the nurses that I cannot stand, but the nurses insisted I stand up to take my weight. I fell because, as the paramedics told them, I wasn't able to stand properly. I couldn't breathe. It hurt my knees very badly. They also did not take any of my history seriously and despite arriving via ambulance and telling them the reason I called 911 was because my SPO2 had dropped to 65 and I had almost fainted and my HR had been 134 and then dropped to 47 within minutes with chest pain they left me in the waiting area for 4 hours. By the time the doctor saw me my symptoms were somewhat better, but my SPO2 was still dropping randomly and my HR was still above 11
Not a good experience! Came in with very bad heel pain on my right foot and a rash with pain and swelling on the same leg. Explained i had diabetes type 2. Had MRSA and Sepsis before. They drew my blood, but never put it into the lab. They did an ultrasound on my right leg for any clogging. Never once looked at my heel or take my socks off. They discharged me with a prescription for antibiotics. I am already on Doxycycline for life because my body is rejecting the metal surgically placed in my back. The doctor was trying to prescribe the same antibiotic and I had to tell him I've been on that antibiotic for 3 years. They have my records, I've been there four times. He prescribed a different antibiotic. I was discharged with no communication as to what to do. The nurse left the discharge
