Wings Health Care Training

I personally wouldn’t recommend this place especially if you don’t have prior healthcare experience. The environment of a classroom made me uncomfortable at times, and I felt like the teacher was overall just disrespectful in the way she spoke to others. I can understand being firm as a teacher, especially when you’re dealing with at least 20 or more students but there were times I felt like the teacher was unnecessarily unkind or disrespectful. Anytime I had a question or someone else had a question that response was often unprofessional, or unkind. I didn’t feel like it was a respectable environment. I’ve had my CNA before, and I went to Tulsa Tech for it, I felt very prepared for that test and I knew I was in the right hands to begin with. Three days in at Wings and I didn’t feel like t

Just finished CNA/home health class last week. Absolutely loved the fast pace! Miss. Cheryl was a great teacher! She's hard on you but she truly is a sweet lady. I'm not an easy person to teach. It takes a great teacher for me to comprehend what is being taught and Miss.Cheryl got it all to stick.

Miss Cheryl was amazing!! She treated everyone with respect and only had our very best interest at heart for all of us. She taught us everything we needed to know for the state board exam and we worked hard, followed her lead and everyone i know passed the class ! Her success rate of people graduating and passing the state board exam is very very high! She is a caring and kind teacher!! Highly recommend Wings and Miss Cheryl!!

As a CNA/CHHA instructor, she goes above and beyond to ensure every student not only understands the material but also feels confident and prepared for real-world situations. I have taken this class twice. Once in 2018 and once this year because I let my license lapse. I passed just fine and had a good experience both times, but the new instructor, Ms. Cheryl, could be WAY more kind to new students - and that's putting it in the nicest way. That one bad review about her I've seen is spot on! We had a hispanic woman in our class who clearly just had a language barrier and just needed extra help, but instead I watched Ms. Cheryl be extremely rude and condescending to her. She didn't show up the next day (I wouldn't either), probably because her learning environment was so hostile!
