Wingate at Silver Lake

My mom was recently at Wingate for about 5 weeks after coming from another facility. I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they did to get her back to herself again! The entire staff went out of their way to make her stay there exceptional! I can’t thank them enough. Tri and Tammy did her PT and they were outstanding!! I highly recommend Wingate!!!

cannot say enough good things about the dementia care unit at Wingate. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of comfort and reassurance. The staff here are more than just caregivers—they are truly compassionate individuals who treat residents with dignity, respect, and love.

The services and healthcare workers here are 75% better than when I was here before. And I want to mention those people Lucia Kathy and rose three lovely people who make you feel like you're at home. Peggy Colin and Alicia do a wonderful job caring for their patients. The food is 75% better more creative than it ever was.

Nursing, OT & PT staff are beyond 5 star. They are kind, compassionate, gentle, and overall a pleasure. I can not say enough about how their kindness expedited my recovery. Having prior experience with rehabs for family members Wingate surpassed my expectations and will be my go to prefernece going forward.

My mom has been here for about 4 months.. started out in rehab and now in longterm. She was at another facility before she came here. That one was not good at all. Sent her here. It's a very clean facility, great activities dept, the rehab dept she was in was great. Keep in mind, i know everyone has their own experiences, but you gotta understand no place is perfect. Yes, this place could use more help. I think all nursing facilities are struggling to keep and get staff. The difference between where my mother was before and her here now is night and day.. My mom looks wonderful. Yes, she talks about going home sometimes, and maybe down the road give it a try, but I don't worry here like i did at the last place. I can sleep at night, i don't worry about her blood sugar, I don't worry about
