So my grandmother who is 86 years old was sent to Windsor care facility for rehab before she gets back home due to my grandmother‘s falling. My grandmother has a hard time getting around, so she’s pretty much bedbound. She was receiving a bed bath on the night of October 10 by two nurses one was talking to her and the other one was washing her, my grandmother said that the one who was talking to her was making she my grandmother didn’t look at the other girl, while the other girl got her very soapy and removed all her rings valued at 10k, during the hand massage and rinsing,(yes we are kicking ourselves because we should have removed the rings from her before arriving but at the time we were just concerned about her safety.) my grandmother called my grandfather when she woke up the next m

I'm generally not one who will ever leave a review. In this case I found it absolutely necessary. It's taking some time for me to wrap my mind around the care that my partner received while in this facility.. It wasn't something that I was just told about, I experienced it during my time of visiting as well.. There seems to be only a few people that really cared about human decency and kindness. Overall the staff appears to be overwhelmed and stress to the max. I witnessed a very short-tempered staff member become very abrasive physically with my partner while she lay in bed to be cleaned up. If you suffered a stroke, your body will experience difficulty. I ended up helping because of how awful my partner was treated. She was in tears!!!. Ifvcould rate the facility it would be a (0). On t

My friend was there for I’d say a month w complications from a stroke. She did get decent care and nurses and staff very helpful. She had visitors every day and that does make a difference in care at these facilities. My 2 Stars are because of the horrific pissy smell which can be controlled. I’ve been to many of these facilities. Why are some so nice no smell etc… they are NOT letting Patients sit in their pee forever. This place needs to do better. Clean extra well and Quit letting Patients sit in Their Pee. Nuff Said

My friend of 34 years has told me she has been in her bed for 5 years, She came here after her sister passed away, left and forgotten about, this place has the most worse reviews I have ever seen at a facility. She was able to walk with a walker, but is now sitting in a bed for 5 years, she is not allowed to use a bathroom, or walk! She sits in dirty diapers, it takes them forever to change her, she can’t go outside, they are to lazy to wheel her out in a wheelchair, they offer physical therapy, but never did physical therapy, They feed her food that is not nutritional, and they have been abusing her. She is disabled and this is not right to treat someone this way!

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I am absolutely disgusted with how these people care for the elderly. Anyone who works in this field needs to have some ounce of compassion and care and sadly these employees don't. Someone I care about was sent here and in that short amount of time they were put in a diaper which they don't need all because the staff was to lazy to let them slowly walk to the bathroom with a walker. How degrading to make someone who is capable and able to use a bathroom be forced to poop and pee in a diaper. This person left this facility in worse condition than they were in prior to being sent there and lost a tremendous amount of weight. I thought the physical therapy would be good for them and I encouraged them to go there and carry a ton of my own guilt for n
