Windsor Terrace Healthcare Center

I was shocked and extremely disappointed that the health board has not given this facility a slap. The pictures on the wesite are nothing like the facility. The drapes hang off the windows, the remotes for the bed are so dirty it made me sick. They are understaffed. The patiences belongings are not moved with them when they are changing rooms, and then you get told, you can file a claim. Patients sit in the hallway, no interaction by staff. I would not put anyone in this facilty. Shame on Windsor Terrace.

I want to start off by saying that our first experience with Windsor Terrace was an amazing one. Our patient was treated like a VIP upon arrival. Their family got a grand tour and their liaison Christina was just terrific. She stayed late to ensure our patient received a warm welcome and she spoke to the family at length of what to expect. The floor staff was very welcoming and they were receptive and communicative. Our patient was there for a couple of weeks before passing. The family let us know they appreciated the care, the hygiene of the facility and the collaboration between Windsor and LIEM in providing care. Again, great care, great attitude, and amazing team members.

My moms belongings were stolen here so disappointing the site has cameras and no one looked in to it the staff packed up half her stuff and stole the other half I have yet to be reimbursed for these items even after sending them proof I am on camera bringing these items in and I am also on camera not bringing these items out thank goodness I never brought my mom‘s wallet or purse there because clearly the integrity of this place is not solid. I can only imagine how many other elderly or sickly people have been taking advantage of whether they’ve stole their identity credit or their items.

Grateful for the care our 91 yr old dad received at Windsor Terrace. Marcia, Alma, Janette, Gina social worker, Candace case manager, Linda pt, Allison, Alaric PT, were all instrumental for having our dad recover quickly to leave the SNF unit. The facility is clean and constantly being cleaned. We are very grateful for his care and to have our dad home again.

I was a patient at Windsor Terrace and had the best care. The nurses were kind and worked hard and treated me with dignity. They took pride in their work. I would go there again in a heartbeat.c step
