Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Morgan

My grandfather has been at Windsor Morgan for over a year, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he receives. He truly loves the facility and the entire staff. He has adapted very well and really enjoys being part of the community. The building is very wheelchair-friendly, with multiple floors and elevators that make it easy for him to get around comfortably. They offer resident activities every single day, which keeps him engaged and involved. When he first arrived, we needed to make some adjustments to his dietary needs, and the cafeteria staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to his preferences. The nursing staff is wonderful — they always keep me informed and are very understanding of his medical condition. Overall, this facility has been an amazing place for my grandfath

I recently toured Windsor Morgan Nursing and Rehab in Corpus Christi, and I was very impressed! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and seemed to be excited to see us. Ms. Gloria took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and showed patience throughout the visit. What was also impressive was that during the tour there were so many residents who stopped and wanted to talk or greet Gloria. Its like she knew everyone. You can tell they truly care about their residents and go above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and valued. Windsor of Morgan is your average nursing home facility. There are people here who go above and beyond, like Olga my med aide, my nurse Luis and my CNAs India, Christina and Alma. They seem to care most. There is also Connie the Activity Director. She is very helpful and is there when I need her help. The food could be better on some days but it is also good on other days. As for laundry, I have missing clothes sometimes but when I report it, they try to find it for me. Overall, there is room for improvements but it is still my home and I love the ones who love me.

My stepmother fell at this facility on 02/09, and our family was not properly notified. The facility claims my father was contacted and that it is documented in their notes; however, that is not accurate. We only learned about the fall because an orthopedic surgeon called to request authorization to move forward with surgery. That is how we discovered she had been injured while in their care. My stepmother is very frail, has dementia, and requires assistance while walking. She was admitted to this facility specifically because she needs supervision and support for her safety. It is deeply concerning to our family that she was able to fall and sustain a broken bone. We are left questioning what level of supervision was in place at the time of the incident and why staff were not close enoug
