During the most terrifying time of our lives, when our baby girl was fighting so hard, this incredible team stood beside us with strength, compassion, dedication. To our angels — Maria, Arianna, and ED, our respiratory therapist — thank you from the bottom of my heart. You didn’t just provide medical care; you gave us hope when we felt helpless. You treated our daughter like she was your own, watching over her so carefully, explaining everything, comforting us, and never giving up on her. TWO WORDS: SENSITIVITY TRAINING. My mother was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm here last night. She was crying while trying to process the news, and the PA looked at her and asked, “Why are you crying?” Maybe because an hour earlier my mother had explained that her own grandmother died from a brain aneurysm. Hearing that diagnosis is terrifying under any circumstance. Hearing it when your family member already died from the same thing is even worse. The complete lack of empathy and basic bedside manner was unbelievable. And unfortunately, this isn’t the first time this hospital has failed my family. Thirteen years ago my mother had a hysterectomy here. During the surgery her urethra was cut and snagged before she was closed up, and no one told anyone until complications happened afterwa

I have experienced high quality treatment and professionalism from all hospital staff- nurses, social workers, surgeons, recovery room and ER. I had an emergency procedure that is routinely done and felt I was in good hands and care throughout the process. This is a hospital located close to me and I appreciate that the wait times are more reasonable than bigger area hospitals. If I had a more serious health condition I would maybe look into other larger hospitals, but that's to be expected due to specialities and access to research doctors, etc. Highly recommend if this hospital is nearby.

I delivered my baby girl at Winchester Hospital and had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby care teams were too good to be true! A special thank you to Lindsey, who helped me through my delivery with so much positivity, calmness, and encouragement, she made my first delivery such a beautiful and empowering experience. Kim from the same unit took incredibly special care of me, ensuring I was comfortable. Every single nurse who came by was so attentive, kind, and supportive.I truly felt cared for every step of the way. A big shoutout to Kerry, the lactation consultant, who was so patient and knowledgeable. She guided me with breastfeeding and helped me feel confident as a first-time mom. Michelle from care unit was amazing again.

I had an exceptional experience at this hospital from labor and delivery through postpartum care. The labor and delivery nurses & doctors were attentive, calm, and incredibly supportive during such an important moment. Postpartum, the care remained consistent—every nurse was compassionate, responsive, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident. The lactation support was especially helpful; they were patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in helping me succeed. The continuity of care across every department made my experience smooth and reassuring from start to finish.
