Willowbrook Pediatrics

My 3 kids, now grown ups 22, 21,& 16 years old are patients of Dr. Wafa since they were born. I am so grateful having her us our pediatrician since then. The quality of care she and her staff provide always exceeds our expectations. Dr. Wafa is very knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and always takes her time whenever we come and see her for check ups or sick visits. The staffs, Stephanie (we missed her), and Shannon are proactive and kind and very helpful with school paperworks. For many years being with them we are treated as family. By the way, the facility is clean including the examination rooms. I never have any issues whatsoever with our pediatrician, she’s a world class and a high level standard doctor for us! We cannot say enough positive things about this office. All 3 doctors here Dr Wafa, Dr P, and Dr. Bronstein are wonderful. I love that they are collaborative and really informative. They always have appointments available and are super responsive and quick to get back to me. We have been there so much the last 18 months with my son being sick all the time, and the nurses are great with my son and always go the extra mile to make it a good experience for him. I’ve never had a problem with the front desk so not sure what these other reviews are talking about.

My little girl had some weird bumps on her skin, turned out to be nothing major but, not why I’m writing the review, which I never do. When we arrived at the doctor I noticed the doctor and the receptionist leaving. I asked if they were closed for the day and instead of telling me yes and to go away, they stayed and reopened the office just to see my baby. 5/5. There are still some good people in the world.

I needed to edit my review to share more details about my experience. I called to make an appointment for my children. When the receptionist answered the phone, she took my daughter's information without a problem. When I began to share my sons' information, she asked if she could put me on hold. I agreed with no problem. After a few minutes, the office manager answered with a very snappy tone. I was confused with her tone and why she was now speaking to me. The office manager proceeded to explain that the female doctors do not feel comfortable attending to male patients who are 16 and older. Those were the exact words that were used. The office manager didn't say they weren't accepting new patients who are 16 and older. She said my son needs to see a regular doctor (an adult physician.) I

I would give them 10 stars if I could! With a newborn and as first-time parents, we keep panicking over everything and nothing, and they always take her in, no matter what. The doctors and receptionists are always very kind and knowledgeable.
