Mom came for a rehab. The entire staff--medical therapy housekeeping dietary admin. have been courteous helpful and cooperative. Nicole and Leticia are two names I remember, but everyone here have been great! Thanks to all of you for your services.

I came to visit my cousin who gets no visitors but me. She is in the long term care side. As I walked through the rehab area, where the halls were tastefully decorated for the holidays, I was struck by the total lack of decoration in the long-term care side. Very sad. I did not see any staff during my hour- long visit.

They should remove the word rehabilitation from their name. My mother spent three weeks there in June before we could get her out, and came out of the place worse than when she was admitted. The place was filthy, she was left sitting in a wheelchair most of the day when she was supposed to have her legs elevated. Her first day she was never offered a drink until evening when my sister showed up and raised hell. My sister was called a liar when she stated to the administration about how bad and dirty the place was. They administered drugs that my mother was allergic to, and seemed to do everything they could to keep her there until the Medicare coverage ran out. My husband was admitted on Dec 9th. On December 24th he was admitted to Meritus Medical with dehydration, he weighed 127 lbs, 5ft 7in tall, he was underweight. His glasses were broken. I was not contacted. Calls were not returned from physician nor did the nurse practioner ever contact me. I just happened to be there when the decision was made to send him to Meritus. I doubt I would have been notified. Not sending him back to that place.
