Customer Reviews
The Doctor did what needed to be done. Afterwards, his PA was horrible. When my to cervical collar broke, the PA refused to let me purchase a replacement. She said I should not be needing it anymore. She hung up on me when I asked if there was anywhere else in town I could purchase one. Unfortunately, my neck hasn't healed per THEIR schedule. Avoid these people at all costs!
I would not recommend this neurosurgeon. The consultation lasted less than a minute. He did not ask about my main concern and just told me to get an MRI. One of the medications he prescribed is a muscle relaxant with 11 refills, which seems excessive. The other one, just by the name, did not seem like it was for migraines—after checking, I found out it is a highly addictive painkiller, flagged with warning signs all over Google.
Dr McCullough listens and is a great doctor. I found him while in the hospital with a brain bleed. He was the only doctor out of about 10 that I saw in that weekend that asked me to follow-up with him after I got out of the hospital. Very thorough. I would highly recommend.
Dr McCullough, did a precise surgery to add a VP Shunt, it went great on 3/1/2020. The procedure took 30 minutes and I was out of the hospital in two days. My balance for my body was back due to the blessed surgery and team work at Plano Medical staff who diagnose my symptoms while at hospital. Thank God for the right doctor at the right time!
If my husband needed brain surgery again -- which, thankfully, he doesn't -- I would go to Texas, to have Dr. McCullough treat him. The surgery he performed on my husband, Joe, required nothing less than extreme precision skills. While he was recovering in NICU, I had at least a couple of the unit's nurses, while they were talking with me, turn and look back over their shoulder, and look back at me and say " if I needed brain surgery, it would be Dr. McCullough." I didn't ask them -- they all volunteered this statement -- and it gave me so much comfort, considering the caliber of the neurosurgeons at this hospital. They didn't have to tell me that. When I was told by Joe's family doctor, that he needed a neurosurgeon, I didn't know where to begin -- and Joe was in no condition to help
