Customer Reviews
I scheduled an appointment as a new patient and I had a great experience. All the staff from the receptionist, dental assistants, and Doctor all were welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable. I thought I was in pain due to my wisdom tooth but it ended up being something else, which was an easy fix. Now, I am in no pain. Grateful the dentist took the time to diagnose me properly.
HORRIBLE EMPLOYEES. The dentist and dentist's assistant were great, but the ladies at the front desk WERE HORRIBLE. One of them has been deliberately hanging up every time I call to schedule an appointment, or she'll tell me to hold and then never come back on the line!
Sat in the waiting room and had to listen to the receptionist bad mouth patients BY NAME, talk about patients teeth problems, talk about what excuse the patient is gonna come up with as to why they missed or canceled their appointment. Talk about how they have turned parents in for child neglect because their kids had dental problems. Not once did they check to see if someone was sitting in the waiting room out of view of the counter. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR and possibly hippa issues with saying patients full names infront of people in the waiting room. Id suggest if you dont want other people hearing about you or your families dental problems, do not go here!
Arrived on time for an appointment to wait 45 mins before I asked how much longer. My son was taken back right after asking. They told me I couldnt be in the room with my scared 8 year old. I assured him he would be ok as I stood in the door way. The hygienist cut/burned the inside of his mouth the second she attempted to start cleaning his teeth. He screamed in pain and said "she hurt me". I immediately removed him from the chair and left. Following up with a grievance thru the insurance company. Its hard to find a good dentist with state insurance but this place needs to be avoided at all costs!!!
LOVE MY DENTIST!! Dr. Barksdale is so sweet and SO good at dentistry! His staff is incredible as well. Especially Tia :) People just don't like the dentist, so take the negative reviews with a large grain of salt. I've never had a bad experience here. Other than when MY insurance denied my claim. Not the dentists fault, AND they did everything in their power to help me. Love u guys. Thanks for helping me get my smile back!!! Best thing I've ever done, and it's all due to william penn dental. Also, I had a partial done here 4 years ago, and the thing is still in great shape. Worked so wonderfully, I'm back for a full! :) will update with a pic when I get them back!
