If you need a dentist in Gainesveille please check them out! My wisdom teeth process was so easy and affordable! They took good care of me and the overall office is very welcoming everytime i come in I am always greeted! Dr. Smayda made me feel very comfortable (even when my wisdom teeth tried to put up a fight lol) and his assistant is very nice as well! Overall 10/10 recommend!

The staff is very friendly and professional. I felt welcomed from the time I entered the office. Dr Van Dyke is honest and trustworthy. He gives his opinion but allows you to make your own decisions. Highly recommended.

The first time I went to this Dentist back roughly 30 or so years ago, I had a horrible swelled abscessed tooth that cause a lot of pain. I remember Dr. Vandyke get up and started to leave the room, I grabbed his lab coat and begged him to not leave to please pull it. He shook the pan and showed me my tooth! Unbelievable. I had moved and lost track of Vandyke Dentistry until I saw the name on Google while searching for a dentist, Not sure anyone isn't a bit nervous about getting a tooth pulled, but my fears went away when I saw this office was still operating. I canceled the appointment with a dentist I thought was the least expensive. But after being very nervous because the last time, that dentist broke a tooth pulling a tooth. Got me in v quickly for an emergency, I’m talkin same day‼️ V accommodating and communicative about insurance, I knew what I would be paying out of pocket. Mr Van Dyke was also very nice about, didn’t bat an eye at the condition of my teeth unlike the ER doctor I saw the night previous. A nonjudgmental experience. Wish my insurance paid more, I would definitely go back‼️

I was away from home when my wisdom tooth started causing me extreme pain. Being so far from my regular dentist meant I was going to have to find someone close by. I needed to be seen right away! I called a few dentist offices only to find out they either couldn’t see an emergency new patient or they didn’t have an opening until the next day. The next on the list was Van Dyke General and Implant Dentistry. The woman that answered the phone was so sweet and understanding. She asked the doctor if he could see me so late in the day and the answer was “yes”. Dr. Smayda and his staff were so nice, so gentle, and never made me feel like I was putting them out by coming in at the end of the day. Dr. Smayda has a very gentle touch and I barely felt the numbing shots. Not everyone has that talent.
