William Jacobs, MD: Pediatrics

Dr. Jacob's has been an awesome pediatrician to my 4 children. He is kind, has patience, and he knows each of my kids on sight. I have never had a negative experience with him or his staff, and have always been able to get a timely appointment. There have been a couple times there was a longer wait, but that can happen when a doctor takes the time to care for each patient he sees. Our family wouldn't trade Dr. J for anyone else!

I love Dr. Jacobs and the staff at East Valley Pediatrics. He looked after my children from birth until we moved out of state eight years later. He is patient, calm, respectful to children, listens and never made me feel rushed. He refers to specialists when appropriate and I've always had good experiences with those referrals. I hope we find someone as gentle and supportive in our new home state!

I don't normally do this but I have to say probably one of the most useless doctors I've ever been to!!!! We've been trying with Dr Jacobs and seen him for years now with our daughter only to be disappointed and left frustrated over and over... This last visit will be our last! We waited over a month to get in to see him and waited over an hour in the waiting room to only find ourselves sitting in the room and him telling us he's not going to help us! It was a complete waste of time and when we asked him for a recommendation for a counselor he wouldn't even give us that... He was rude and completely wasted our time just to collect payment for visit ... The only thing this doctor knows how to do is write prescriptions and there is alot more to being a doctor than cramming meds down a child'

I brought my son to see Dr. Jacobs this afternoon to get a referral to see an allergist. This was recommended by his counselor to see if allergies could be an underlying cause of some behavioral issues that he has. Dr. Jacobs came in and stated that since he has never seen my son before, he is unaware of what his history is; mind you, my son has been a patient of Dr. Jacobs for three years. Although I do not expect him to remember EVERY patient, he could at least glance over my sons records prior to seeing us. However, that is not the sole purpose of this review. Dr. Jacobs was not only completely dismissive of my request for allergy testing. He asked me if there was any indication that my son even has allergies. When I explained that my son has been on medication for over two year
