A blonde, a brunette and a redhead walk into a bar….I mean…the hospital… I was in the ED in November with my father and unfortunately my family is in there a lot so I recognize a lot of the staff and faces. Dr. Brock was taking care of my father (and he’s a fantastic doc by the way. Highly recommended). While we were waiting for test results 3 people that I recognized as staff came in and were extremely loud and carrying on and they all were completely wasted drunk. One was Sarah that I believe works as a charge nurse. The other was a blonde girl whose name started with an S (I think) and the other was a redhead with freckles. I’m not sure why but they had an orange traffic cone with them in which I heard them say “we stole it for you Sean!”. They were then carrying on with belligerently

I I spent a day in the ER, and three days in the hospital with CIP and stiff-person syndrome. The nursing staff was incredible, always sweet and gentle. They kept a close eye on me, helped me eat when I could not feed myself, and so many other things. The CNA and the cleaning staff Are just as wonderful. They laugh easily and get along so well. The hospital should be proud to have such wonderful staff

I had to visit the ER while in town seeing family at the holidays, and my experience was *excellent*. The team - from the reception and triage nurse through the care team once in the back - were communicative, kind, and professional. Despite it being the ER I did not have to wait long. I was grateful for my experience there, and glad that my local family have this place as their ER.

I was here in September 2024 following a suicide attempt by hanging. This hospital IS NOT equipped to deal with mental health emergencies, they seemingly lack a psychiatric ward and the way I was treated was genuinely disturbing. I wanted to kill myself so much more following my stay here. In short, I was sent into their designated psychiatric area, which was just a room with a camera and decrepit peeling walls. The nurse did not take my phone, bracelets, nor did she search me for anything potentially dangerous to myself. After a good deal of time, she came back and informed me I needed to provide a urine sample, and she finally took my phone because I had it out (as well as the bracelets, but only after I asked about them). We where on vacation in Lincoln City, when I got very ill, and was seem at Willamette Vallet Medical Center. I was treated kindly, quickly and the whole time calling my husband by his first name. I feel the care I received was a 1000% better hospital than I have ever been at. Thank you for being there for me and my husband when I was do sick!
