Wildwood Dental - Dr. Keith Sheppard

My experience here was not great. I had a root canal here years ago (I think he no longer does root canals) and afterwards or was incredibly painful. Turns out my tooth died and I had to go back and get another root canal at a different practice. I also had problems with pain management. I felt as though my mouth never got fully numb and hey put a crown on my tooth with freezing cold hands and it made my tooth ache so bad I could barely stand it. When I mentioned her hands were cold she dismissed me. Finally, pin my last visit here, the dentist were discussing with his staff how women are meaner than men. I felt extremely uncomfortable and asked how many women mass shooters there have been. He laughed and continued on with his conversation. Overall, the dental work I had here was not gr

This is the absolute best dentist you can find. The staff and nurses are awesome too. I have seen 4 dentists in the last 6 years and I will never go to anyone but Dr. Sheppard as long as he's around. I will drive hours to go to Dr Sheppard. I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, to the point of letting my teeth break and being incapacitated by pain before seeking dental help. But Dr Sheppard legitimately gives me confidence that I can get dental work done and it wont be the terrifyingly painful experience I had as a kid. Both tooth extractions from Dr. Sheppard have not only been fast and painless, but they've both healed faster and more thoroughly than any other extraction I've had.(And I've had 7...) Having had A LOT of dental work over the years, much of it problematic, I think I'm my opinion comes with a fair amount of validity. I believe I am qualified to be able to identify professionals that operate at the highest level… even on my first visit. Having said that Dr. Sheppard's office seems to be filled with some of the most qualified and experienced care providers and support staff I have encounter. The atmosphere was exceptional as well! There haven't been very many times I actually enjoyed dental visits... however in this case I did. But was it really necessary to take my pictures? Yikes. :)

Worst experience ever at a dental office. Dr. Sheppard has extreme political views that he forces on his patients and acts really surprised and personally offended when they don't agree. I want my dentist to focus on my dental care not on complaining about politics. It seems like common sense to keep your opinions to yourself so that you don't alienate patients. But like my grandma says, common sense isn't so common anymore.

First time to visit Wildwood Dental and i was very impressed. The staff was fun and funny, assistant took her time with me. She sat down and never tried to hurry or end our conversation. We ended up chatting about great movies to watch! For me, that was huge. Dr. Shepherd was friendly and honestly cared about me. hHe was very relateable. I am a nervous dental patient and having such a POSITIVE experience was worth 5-stars!
