Whittier Hospital Medical Center

As a first time momma at the L&D side of the hospital, I am very pleased with all the midwives I got during my birth of almost 24 hrs. Such a painful experience yet such a great experience at this hospital. I will forever be grateful for Yvette who helped me with the pushing process as my baby was coming sunny side up such a painful experience and she heard me out and helped me and cared for me through it. These nurses really see it all go home like a normal day and come back to help more momma deliver their babies. Ive heard such good things from thus hospital on their L&D and im glad i got to experience it myself as a first time momma. Thankful for dr Purdom as well from being my OB to my delivery doctor.

Eduardo De La Rocha is super super gorgeous RN nurse. He very nice and patient to take care of me. I first time saw a nurse so very nice to patient . I am very lucky to have this Rn nurse take care of me. The whittier hospital hiring so amazing nurse to work here. I can give him million thumb up. Good job. I am very very appreciate all your help. I recently gave birth to my first baby at this hospital. I went in for a scheduled induction, the care was amazing. They are truly patient care centered. I never felt unsafe, or disregarded. I know every birth story is different but I honestly believe the care I received during labor and postpartum made my birth story a positive, non traumatic one. Every nurse I encountered was amazing. I truly hope this maternity ward is available to many generations in the future, a small hospital with a big heart.

The worst hospital ever I had my son their three weeks ago and I got a C-section and the nurses and doctors their are super unprofessional and the Dr who did my surgery name DR Guzman horrible he did a poor job my surgery was fighting with his other Dr doing my surgery while I was almost dying they even put too much shot in my back to numb me. It was the worst experience I ever had after in my recovery. It was the worst and I’m still in recovery and my cut reopened and it got affected really bad and I’ve cleaned it and did everything and it’s the inside of me what’s something’s going on and I have a lot of infection so please don’t go to this hospital. If you’re gonna have a baby my experience was horrible. The nurses were horrible to me.

I want to thank all the staff at Whittier Medical Center! They did an amazing job taking care of me when I wasn’t able to care for myself. From admitting and blood work to surgery prep, the recovery room, and discharge, every staff member I met was kind, professional, and compassionate. I am so grateful for the care I received—everyone was truly AMAZING!
