White Mountain Regional Medical Center

WMRMC is amazing. The staff is competent, helpful and friendly, consistently providing excellent support (especially Zach). It's definitely more personal than the Valley hospitals. The ER is first rate. The facility is clean. The gift store is thoughtfully stocked, with inventory updated for holidays and seasons. We are lucky to have this hospital in our rural community.

Outpatient services are frankly not great. I’ve been very frustrated with this hospital and I’ve only gotten one service with them. I was told when I got an ultrasound that my insurance said it would only cost $50. When it ended up costing over $400, they said “well we say prices are subject to change” which they never did to me. Would never have gotten it done. On top of that, once the results came back from the ultrasound, I got no advice from anyone. They called and told me the results, and basically said “well, we could refer you to a surgeon if you want.” i’m sorry, aren’t you supposed to help me figure out what to do or how serious my problem is? After everything went down, they refused to do anything about my bill that frankly was lied about whether intentionally or not in the first

The records department is the WORST! The ER DR was great, he requested all records, including the CT SCAN to go to my husbands UROLOGIST, since he has had prostate and bladder cancer and they found a mass on his kidney. The ridiculous person in there kept saying she sent the records, she did but neglected to tell us she didn’t tell us she DID NOT SEND THE CT SCAN! The most important part of his records. After 7 days of back and forth, she said she had to have an order from the urologist to send them, because she got into trouble sending before she got an order!! WTH? Even the urologist said never heard of such a thing!!!And this isn’t the first time SHE HAS NEGLECTED to send tests without a call from us! We are at our wits end with this!!

I have taken my cat to White Mountain Animal Hospital for about 4 years. Dr. Norris is not only a Wonderful Vet but a very compassionate person. Dr.Norris, Chastity and Aubrey are a great team and are so caring and lovable towards your pet. I would recommend them to anyone.

My family was fishing in the White Mountains, and unfortunately we had to make a trip to ER. We were quite impressed with how well we were treated. From the x-ray tech, ER doctor, nurses, and staff, every employee was personable, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable during the treatment. It's refreshing to get great service, and not be treated like a number. Thank you.
