Whitaker Eye Center

Dr. Whitaker was very professional and my experience with him was great. However, a few members of his staff weren’t! The lady at the front desk is extremely rude and seems bothered by any questions patients may have. I’ve called the office to make appointments or order contacts and she was just as rude.

I had an appointment today. When I call to confirm they said I had called and cancelled which was a lie. Dr Whicker himself is awesome always nice and professional. On the other had Brooklyn or brook was real rude and very unprofessional. My appointment was for 8 no one spoke or said good morning. I've been going here over 10 yrs this is the worst staff I've ever seen. Please get more professional and warming staff. They are the worst.

Me and a friend went or our appointment while we were picking out our glasses someone was saying hey you we didn't know who she was talking to since you hollered at my friend I turn around and ask her if she was talking to her she said yes I asked her not to holler at my friend she come out from around her desk put her finger in my face told me she would knock me out more than once it took four people that worked there to get her out of the office where we were at we were not apologize too we went a week later and picked our glasses up I don't know if this lady was racist towards us are just too lazy to turn around and speak to us we weren't even looking at her she had her back turned to us the whole time so we did not know who she was speaking to there was other people in there she has a

He was very nice but would not listen when I told him I could not see with the prescription that he gave me. I want back twice so that he can check his work, which he never did.Needless to say I'm out of hundreds of dollars and can't use the contacts or glasses that I purchased from him. Would not recommend him unless you have time and money to waste.

I have been going to whitaker since I moved to Vidalia la a few years ago and at first it was a great place. I always had a good visit,but lately it has been awful. The people are rude and complain make you feel extremely annoying for calling and just being there. I am very disappointed with my visit and plan to switch. I do not recommend whitaker to anyone until new staff is hired.
