Whispering Pines

Earlier this week I visited a relative who resides at Whispering Pines. Upon entering the facility I was met with a friendly, smiling face by the receptionist (whose name l don't remember...sorry). I recognized two employees Janice and Myra, both were very nice and welcomed me to the facility. After signing in, Myra directed me to the resident's room for a short visit. As I passed the residents looked clean, they were dressed, not at all disheveled. I also noticed how clean and "clean-smelling" the building was, "kudos" to Housekeeping! There was no equipment lining the hallways. Whispering Pines is a beautiful facility and employees seem to enjoy working there! Keep up the good work! You really are appreciated!

My Step-father was a patient at Wispering Pines for several weeks and received excellent care. The staff was very attentive and compassionate. They were very responsive and informative when we asked questions. We were very appreciative of the whole staff.

My husband came to Whispering Pines about 2 years ago, he was in bad shape. He came from another nursing home in Fayetteville and it was horrible I actually had to quit my job and stay with him allday. The minute he hit the doors of Whispering the nurse knew exactly what was making him so sick, she said it's the feeding. My husband had been back and forth to the hospital at the old location 30 times in one year. He came in weighing 108 lbs now he's at 150lbs. I thank God and the staff at Whispering Pines. Jessica the Director and Melinda the DON, they listen and take action. They're not perfect but they're striving everyday to be the best of the best. I can truly say when I feel burdened down I can actually take a break, knowing and trusting in God that Whispering Pines will take care of m

If you or your loved one has "good" insurance or enough money they will be put into a nice room in the good, clean section of the facility, with caring attentive nurses, who will make sure the patient is fed, & bathed on a regular basis. Provided you or your loved one meets the financial criteria they will be safe & sound here. BUT... If not, well that's an entirely different story. Our loved one started out with good insurance through the company she worked for, so she was well cared for. When she lost her job & subsequently her insurance, she was left with only Medicare/Medicade & they downgraded her. They moved her 2 or 3 times, each time it was to a worse situation. She started out in a very nice private room, in the front of the facility. They provided her a television, & when she wou
