Western Kansas Urological

Two weeks ago today I had an appointment in Hayes for a ct scan. It took about 2 minutes for the doctor to tell me I needed another scan. This time with contrast. I was told that as soon as they got the result, they would call me. They got the results back a week ago and still no calls. I have called two meds and still no calls. Now I had my right kidney removed because of cancer. I am not happy because if I loose another kidney I am headed to a slow death. I bet if they were in my shoes, they would be on the phone twice a day. When they send the bill, they are not getting paid.

Thankful I was able to change over from Wichita Urology to Hays as it's a way closer drive for me! Meeting with the staff and Dr. Curry the first time they were real nice and made me feel comfortable since I've already seen so many doctors with my health. He got my stent replaced and everything went very good! I give them one star after my experience today with them. They called me yesterday asking if I would be comfortable seeing some lady (who judging by her title wasn't an actual doctor) because Dr. Curry was going to be in surgery. Honestly didn't understand why he would be in surgery if he had appointment scheduled, but maybe it was unplanned. I told them not really, because obviously I want to see my doctor... the one who is performing the stent exchange. And I've already had tons of

I am a nurse. I called to get a surgical consult appointment for myself. They scheduled me with Danielle who is a nurse practitioner, not a surgeon. Frustrating that I wasted a 3 hour trip and a day off work. While doing an exam, Danielle or her assistant also gave me a urinary tract infection because they had dirty hands. Totally unacceptable! I had to make a second appointment with a new surgeon there so another 3 hour trip and day off work. When I checked in, they had me mixed up with another patient with a similar name but different date of birth. They corrected that but when I collected my urine sample, that other patient's sticker was on my sample cup. Very bad. Some staff were very rude. None of the staff used hand sanitizer or soap and water to clean their hands in front of me. Som

Dr. Lopez is fantastic. I cannot say enough great things about him. He put me at ease from day one and really listened to my concerns. Thank you so much Dr. Lopez for giving me my life back! Kudos as well to Heather his nurse what a caring person she is a real asset to Dr. Lopez's office.

Horrible experience. I work as a nurse for a family practice clinic. I tried to get a patient who had out of state urology care established with their group to be closer to home and they would not accept the patient. Gave me the run around. I will not allow patients to be referred to this group any more. I will recommend the urology group in Salina - they are friendlier and easier to work with and always happy to help out the patients. I am ashamed that I recommended this group to our patients and their families.
