The woman at the fronr counter was quite rude and negative. Not one smile. She really needs training in customer relations. I felt unwelcomed and so i left. I will never go to western dental or refer anyone to yiu. All because this woman has the personallity of a rock. The silver lining of this dissapointmwnt was i foubd a dentist in the same plaza who was kind and vwry helpfull.

I visited their Northridge location for the first time to get my annual prophylaxis done which is covered 100% by my insurance. As my first visit I understand that they will normally do the necessary X-rays. After the X-rays are done, the dentist will check your teeth to find out what are the services you need and will they will recommend all the services needed in addition to the purpose of your visit. They will try to convince and sell you all these of service to avail/use your insurance coverage. The quotes they provided includes a charge for deep cleaning. I asked that I only needed the prophylaxis that is covered 100% by my insurance. They said that prohylaxis do not include scaling, it only includes brushing your teeth. And they will not even perform it even if you just reques

I have no idea how these people got their licenses. All employees should be retested and properly qualified. The work is very cheap and low-quality, and the behavior is unprofessional. They make you wait over an hour and try to overcharge your insurance. I had a root canal that came off the next day. After they redid it, it came off again the next day. I was scheduled for a deep cleaning, but they only did a polish. When I questioned it, they said they would talk to the doctor within a few hours, but nothing was resolved. Everything was poorly handled. Be careful with the reviews many of them appear fake and misleading. Don’t trust them

Terrible experience. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I waited more than an hour after scheduled appointment to be taken to room. Once in the room I was quotes several out of pocket costs. The final price I was quoted just over $1000 for the work. I told the assistant i was going to call my FSA to check available funds. I decided to move forward with the work based on quote provided. The receptionist took my card and dentist came in to make molds. They charged me almost $1800 without my consent. When they brought me the paperwork to sign I immediately asked why I was charged an unapproved amount and they tried to manipulate the conversation. Im here at the location in Northridge because it says its open, I just called & was told they're not open till Thursday. So apparently they're only open Thurs-Sat but the online hours doesn't say that & after reading all the negative reviews. Im just going to take myself & my kids somewhere else.
