Our family cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility and the incredible people who work there. From the moment we walked in, everyone has been so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. The entire team goes above and beyond to make sure my dad feels supported, comfortable, and encouraged every single day. They are doing an amazing job helping him regain his strength and confidence so he can get back on his feet and walk again. It is clear that they truly care about his progress and celebrate every small victory right alongside him. That kind of dedication and positivity makes all the difference in recovery. We cannot begin to describe the impact the care team has made with my husband. This facility has the most caring individuals in the healthcare industry. They supported us from the admission process to discharge with the utmost respect and support. I wish I could remember everyone’s names that made such a lasting impression. I just took a tour, and wow — the newly renovated gym is amazing! I was greeted by both PT and OT, who were so kind and supportive. Shannon in admissions is fantastic and always willing to chat when I come in to discuss how we can benefit one another. I also had the chance to see Heather, the social worker, and I truly couldn’t express enough how wonderful their whole team is.

Worst nursing facility ever. I have been in 4 nursing homes in the past year but Westerly is by far the worst. They have a bad bug problem, the food is un- eatable, not for human consumption. They don’t give you your meds as scheduled. The shower didn’t work so I couldn’t shower for days. To top it off they stole my medications that I took with me to the hospital and they stole the prescriptions the hospital doctors wrote. They refused to give me my prescriptions when I was discharged. Some of which were pain medications for my cancer. I am strongly thinking of calling a good lawyer. Plus they told me when I was leaving they destroyed my personal belongs. The staff there is stealing patients medications. Stay far away from this place. Unless you want bed bugs.
