Had a recent L4-L5 laminectomy done with Dr Casden that apparently was one of the largest disc herniations he’s ever worked on in his career (his words lol) im 33 so hearing this took me aback a bit and had been dealing with such debilitating pain for well over a year. it was such a relief to finally feel heard and not dismissed with just “oh it’s your sciatica do PT” and nothing helped… I’m still very fresh in my post op period but i have nothing but wonderful things to say about the nursing team/the nurse techs and PT techs and Dr Casden. I also work in the healthcare system and this level of care, compassion and support is unmatched to anything I’ve ever experienced.
