There is nothing good I can say about this facility. Unfortunately in order to post I have to give one star, but no stars are warranted. If their processes are designed to frustrate and leave family with feelings of helplessness and anxiety, they are doing a stellar job. From the moment you arrive for an extremely regimented and short visit window, you see how little thought has gone into the process. Signing in is a nightmare and a master class in inefficiency. Not once were visitors ushered in on time. There seems to be no regard to organization, which would greatly help in allowing the full one hour to see your loved one. This facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which really reflects their commitment to safety and comfort. There is always plenty of staff on site, helping everything run smoothly and creating a strong sense of security. I especially appreciate the variety of spaces available, including areas for group activities, a gym, and outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy fresh air. It truly feels like a place that prioritizes both mental and physical well-being.

I am writing this to warn other parents, particularly those with children on the Autism Spectrum or with complex medical needs. I read the reviews for Westborough Behavioral Healthcare (WBHH) before my 9-year-old son was admitted, but I made the mistake of taking them with a grain of salt. Please do not ignore the warnings. My son was admitted to the Special Needs Unit (SNU), a program that claims to be specialized for neurodevelopmental disorders. Our experience was a clinical nightmare: Clinical Dishonesty & Lying: The attending psychiatrist explicitly lied to me, claiming he had consulted with my son’s outside prescriber and that she agreed with a high-risk medication change. Clean, and Safe Facility This place is very clean and well taken care of. You can really tell they prioritize safety and comfort for everyone there.
