West Hazleton Veterinary Hospital

I had a wonderful experience with West Hazleton Veterinary Hospital in West Hazleton. Dr. Trippett and his entire staff were fantastic when my German Shepherd–Bloodhound mix suffered a serious laceration near her paw. The injury happened during play with my one-year-old Labrador when their collars accidentally got hooked together. An S-hook on the Labrador’s collar opened, and my German Shepherd mix got her paw caught on it, causing a deep cut that wrapped around her paw. It was scary, but Dr. Trippett’s team got us in the same day and treated her quickly and compassionately. They carefully stapled the laceration, provided antibiotics, and explained the aftercare clearly. Two weeks later, my dog is doing fantastic and is almost completely healed. I’m very grateful for their prompt care

During my visit to the clinic, I was in the process of scheduling an appointment for my puppy with the receptionist. During this time, my puppy accidentally wandered into one of the examination rooms. Unfortunately, the veterinarian responded in a rather mean and unprofessional manner, which was surprising given that this is an animal clinic where we expect kindness and care. I hope that in the future, the clinic can maintain a more welcoming and compassionate atmosphere.

Best Veterinarian & staff in Hazleton! Fast appointment when you have a sick animal. Doctor himself calls to check on the animal. Extremely caring.
