My son who is 11 and my daughter who is 4 have been coming here since they were born. My son had a milk protein allergy when he was born, and they quickly were able to diagnose him and help me get a prescription for his formula to be approved by his health insurance. Also, my daughter who is 4 also had a milk protein allergy but the insurance companies were being a pain and not covering it at all, but I was happy to get frequent phone calls from the team at West Hartford Pediatrics to pick up some extra sample containers that they had. Also, my daughter was a COVID baby and during the baby formula shortage, they also would call and have things available. All of their wellness checks have always gone great. We began our pediatric journey with Dr. Thomas N. Fromson, who was absolutely wonderful—so loving and attentive. I truly wish we could have stayed with him, but his schedule didn’t align with ours, as Monday mornings work best for us. Afterward, we saw another pediatrician, but I wasn’t satisfied with the level of care. One thing that stood out to me was that she wasn’t a mother yet, and trust me, that makes all the difference when choosing a pediatrician. There’s a unique level of understanding and empathy that comes from someone who has experienced parenthood themselves. That’s when we were referred to Dr. Lauren B. We've been taking our kids to West Hartford Pediatrics for a few years now and have been pleased with the quality of their care. They aren't open on the weekends, so we sometimes have to go to a different provider. The team at West Hartford Pediatrics was notified about our appointment with the other provider and followed up with us to make sure we were taken care of and answer any questions we may have. I don't believe I've seen this level of service from any doctor I've ever had. It's very impressive, and we really appreciate it!

I am extremely disappointed with the care my son received at this pediatric facility. For an entire year, I raised concerns about his excessive spitting, frequent vomiting, and constant bowel movements, only to be repeatedly told it was “normal.” They dismissed my worries instead of investigating further. Recently, I sought a second opinion, and it turns out my son has multiple allergies that were causing all of these issues. This facility completely neglected his well-being, ignoring clear signs of a problem and failing to provide the thorough care we deserved. It’s heartbreaking to think of the pain and discomfort my son endured because of their negligence. This facility ignored clear warning signs and dismissed my concerns as a parent. Just don’t waste your time, the people who answer the phone are lost they don’t agree on anything. So if you call today they will say one thing and then tomorrow something else Just ridiculous.
