At a recent visit, PA McLaughlin asked me if I had heard the name of a certain medication and I said not off the top of my head. She responded, “have you been living under a rock.” After I asked some further questions, it turned out that I had read an article in the Washington Post about the particular medication several months earlier but it was not a generic medication that the general public would have known. Aside from that, why would a medical professional say that to a patient. In taking my history, she also made statements that didn’t make sense.
