It pains me to write such a horrible review because my PA was terrific. It was scheduling, customer responses, prescription follow through and more that is driving the review. In summary: - I had to follow up 9 times to get my primary prescription fixed. I not only called 6 times but I personally went to the reception desk 3 times. No apology and no follow up. - I wrote Wellstar corp and no response. - With my prescription running low I went in again to schedule an appointment with my PA who fixed the primary but the new prescription was never ordered---for the second time. During my visit she was very apologetic but nothing changed. - An annual blood test was scheduled with Quest but the office closed and no one told me. My hope is that they correctly transfer all of my records to m

I have been a patient since 2018 when the facility was called University Medical Associates of Aiken and never once had issues with getting my prescription refill until now. Since the unknown switch to Wellstar, (patients were not even notified of the change) the atmosphere is noticeably different and sadly, not in a good way. To treat a patient as if they are unimportant was mind blowing. For a nurse to lie to a patient is even worse. I have trusted this facility with my life. Today, I can say that I no longer feel like I can do that. UMAA was a blessing. Justin Croft has always been a wonderful provider and is very knowledgeable- so much so he deserves to continue his education to become an MD. The staff that is new since the switch really needs to remember they are there to help people.

Don’t even bother calling here as a new patient. Not unless you want to wait until May 2026 to be seen!!!! Good lord!!! People that have serious health issues that need to be constantly monitored can’t WAIT UNTIL MAY TO BE SEEN!!!! Are you serious!!!

This new non apologetic group or system these people are working with are terrible, they wasted my wife's time earlier today she showed up for her appointment for them to tell her it had been canceled and they had talked to her,wrong they never called to cancel never said they were im sorry or anything what a joke not to mention she has been going to Dr youmans office for 25 years and never experienced very unprofessional people 😡😡😡😡

It's a hit or miss with this practice, I visit the PA he's great, but the front staff needs to learn how to handle customers. I called on Wednesday and they had my number, says they will ask about calling in a prescription never heard back, 2 days later when I'm off of work, I go to pharmacy and nothing was called in, now I'm told I need to come see the doc even though I was there a month and a half ago, so I have to be in gout pain for another 6 days before I can see the doc. I love the American practices..
