This location for my PCP has been the best location for scheduling appointments, being seen in a timely manner, and having all and any issues addressed seriously. I have loved going to this location for their friendly staff in all positions. From the moment I walk in until I am at the check out desk I am always thoroughly impressed with the way this office handles their patients.

I have seen many of the The esteemed doctors at this clinic have consistently provided exceptional healthcare to myself and my family for many years. Despite my insurance status and the clinic's policy of not accepting new patients, my children were accepted as patients, and the physician I transitioned to graciously accepted all of us as her patients. Dr. Gaughan, in particular, stands out as an exceptional doctor who goes above and beyond in her care for her patients. Her genuine concern and compassion are evident in every interaction, and she truly listens to and addresses any concerns we may have. Furthermore, she promptly refers us to specialists when necessary, ensuring that we receive the best possible care. We are also fortunate to have Dr. Helwig as another primary care physician

We have had Dr. Walden in another location for many years and we really appreciated his care and concern. He has always taken time to listen and advise in language we can understand. He relocated and the former office did not advise us, a few visits there with him gone we went on-line and we found him at West Cornwall, the 1 hour drive is every bit worth it. We are hopeful our health will remain so we can make the trip about every 3-6 months, he is concerned we don't have to drive the distance in the winter months and he works well with us. I came here with chronic sciatic pain. I spoke to a physician and expressed interest in physical therapy. I was put on a muscle relaxer. It was making me too drowsy at work and not helping the pain. Again denied physical therapy, and put on Voltaren. It made me feel unwell and also didn't help the pain. The physician told me at that point the next step would be blood work to look for autoimmune diseases. I knew it wasn't that but obliged because labs couldn't hurt. I called to schedule and they literally pushed me aside, saying that I couldn't schedule that because the physician didn't think it was necessary. They do not care about your well-being here. They just want to push drugs and pass you off to someone else.

A week ago they would have gotten a 5 star from me, but I am more than ticked off today. My family has been going here for over a year and the staff is fantastic. They treat you nicely, are generally quick with service, and do a good job diagnosing. I recently got a routine physical done. As part of the physical, my doctor wanted to get blood work drawn up. So, they took the blood and sent it off to Good Sam to process. 2 weeks later I get a bill for over $550 for the blood work from Good Sam! Now, granted insurance pays half but I am still stuck paying $275. I understand it's the hospitals bill and West Cornwall can't control what they charge, but they absolutely need to tell people what they are getting into!
