WellSpan Family Medicine - Norman Drive

We returned recently after leaving several years ago and we find the staff to be most helpful and friendly, as well as Dr Zimmerman to be a dedicated D.O. who concentrates on natural health solutions with intelligent medical application.

My partner, had an appointment at 7:30 PM. The were supposed to be open until 8:00 PM. We called patient support services and informed them of the appointment time. Asked why the office was closed. They said that the office closed at 5:00PM. So, they can cancel appointments and not notify a patient? This is a place that clearly doesn't care about their patients well being!

I find the practice to be lovely! Dr Anwar is very nice and all the nurses are very kind and caring! The office is clean and inviting!

It has been hard for me to find a family physician who cares about your health within Wellspan. I went in with some serious chronic symptoms, and felt very heard during my visit. I had a lot of blood work done, and my physicians suspicious were the same as my own. My results come back and I don't hear from them so I call. I'm told by the receptionist that the physician is with a patient but that my labs are stable. Firstly, they never did blood work for me before so they wouldn't know if it's stable. Secondly, if it was stable I still need to follow up with the physician to get to the meaning of the symptoms I've been having. Lastly, I read my results on the portal and I know they were not normal. I explained this to the receptionist after being on hold for a long time. She said they will

Over several visits I was called by a man’s name. I am not and have never been a man. It does not give me confidence in them. It didn’t start until maybe three visits in, but then every single visit afterwards I was called by that same man’s name. My chart had my actual name on it, I don’t have a rare name it’s not hard to pronounce. They had me put a nickname for myself which I did… and yet I will still called by that male name. If they’re messing up a name so much what else could they be messing up?
