Wellness Works Physical Therapy, LLC

A recommendation from a friend and one from my doctor led me to a practitioner at Wellness Works. My knee was in a state of chronic hyper-mobility, interfering with my ability to walk. Speaking with the front desk several times about insurance and payment options put me at ease prior to my first appointment, because both receptionists were patient and professional. When I walked into the waiting room, I received a warm welcome and waited briefly before my therapist, Gretchen, called me in. I was taken with the stunning artwork in the treatment rooms and the tasteful, upbeat music, played at a comfortable volume. Gretchen interviewed me carefully, taking copious notes. I was thrilled to discover her deep yoga training and general holistic background. She focused on offering me exercises

There was a 1.5 month wait to get it. I got one appointment. They cancelled my next appointment and then couldn’t get me in for another two months. I have written them. I have called them. They do very little to facilitate scheduling. When physical therapy is an important component prior to considering surgery it is frustrating to not get adequate care.

I'm back at Wellness Works for my second round of PT and this time is even better than the first. This place is wonderful and Zoe is a fantastic therapist. I already feel a difference after one session. I work in healthcare and always recommend this place to my patients in northern NM. Five stars across the board.

If you are seeking care for any physical challenge, this is the place. All the physical therapists have well developed skills to get you on the road to recovery at a pace that is comfortable for you. Their communication is uplifting and always encouraging. The progress I made in a short time from severe pain to no pain is nothing short of a miracle. These physical therapists are working on you and with you because of their incredible training and wisdom acquired through years and years of hands on healing with their clients. Denise at Wellness Works has continually helped me adapt my athletic goals to my ever-changing physicality as I continue to advance. In myriad therapies ranging from more traditional to holistic approaches, working with Denise has allowed me to continue mountain biking with the way I want to. Shifting to a more therapeutic approach along with strength building continues to help me thrive and overcome my history of crashes and injuries that are sometimes a part of the sport.
