Wellcare Urgent Care

We’ve been to this urgent care a few times since it is close to our home and I’ve always had a great experience. Everyone is friendly and I feel that the Drs really explain everything thoroughly and are honest! One of our visits we went in for was for my sons knee that he was having pain in and the Dr gave us tips on natural things we can try to help with the pain first because he didn’t want to have to prescribe my son muscle relaxers because he is a teen and mentioned that muscle relaxers can be dangerous. So I really appreciated that transparency as I also prefer not to give my kids medications right away if not absolutely necessary. I highly recommend this place!

Nick and staff did an amazing job. I poked my eye with a branch while hauling brush. They got me in quick and found a scratch on my eye and removed a piece of wood debris. They prescribed me some eye drops to help with the pain and help prevent an infection. They were awesome!

First off love that you can schedule online. Did that at 5:30 am for an 8:00 am appt. I was first to be seen! Front girl was nice and was training another guy. Then the vitals part was good- temp machine didn't work properly but he pulled out a handheld one to finish the job. Last but not least Dr John was great. Very personable, kind and listened to me and my questions. I will go back.

The doctor and staff were very friendly and thorough. Originally thought it was just a sprain but the doctor took a second look, took more x-rays and found a broken bone. It's definitely go back.

This was not a positive experience whatsoever. I had never felt more sick in my entire life. I went in because I was incredibly dehydrated. I was told over the phone that they have the ability to do fluids as I cant keep anything down. The dr tested for the flu and when that was negative it felt like they couldn't get me out of there fast enough. The dr explicitly said that she was calling in 2 prescriptions for me. I drive to the pharmacy and they only have 1- i called the urgent care back and they tell me the other one was over the counter. It would have been really nice if they had mentioned that in the office. Overall- it felt like a waste of my copay. I won't be back.
