Welch Community Hospital

Not great but not bad as well. I have had bad and good experiences with doctors in that hospital BUT overall the experience has been good and it is where my primary care doctor is at and he seems to be alright as he calls me with blood work and when he forgot to refill a prescription he was fast in responding and refilling it.

Had a medical emergency out of town. Pleasantly surprised with the wonderful staff, knowledgeable doctors and cleanliness. Thank you, you did an absolutely wonderful job!

Very rude doctor was in the ER with my husband he wouldn't even let me stay in room with him told me to step out in the hall but yet the ER was full of patients in beds with family members with them all beside the beds with them just makes me so mad and upset that this goes on with only certain people but I went outside set in my truck instead very rude no respect that my husband was in pain I will spread the word to others how rude he was to me I wouldn't recommend anyone seeing him I ask questions about his IV medicine and he was like well I want his pain to leave before he passes the kidney stone I wouldn't advise anyone to see him as a doctor he's lucky I only said when he told me to step out in hall I said no I'll go outside and wait in my vehicle I would give half star if I could bad

Tonight I was very sick and also my Wife the older lady with glasses with blonde dye hair in station 1 that deals with the paperwork and gives you the shot was very unprofessional at her job she has horrible attitude just because we was sick she treated us like we was bitten by zombies and was scared to death that we was going to give her the zombie virus,well you work at a hospital where they are going to be sick ppl if you don't like your job find another place to work

Only reason for one star is it won’t let me post zero stars. Dr.Eels tried to tell us my daughter had a tick bite and had neurological issues when we took her because of a sprained ankle. Tried sending us to Charleston and after it took 4 hours to do 3 x rays we left. The nurse then told my wife we were denying my daughter care and if it was her child she’d take her to Charleston after we had done told them we would take her to her regular pediatrician only reason for goin there was it was a Sunday. The nursing staff were asleep at desks and to busy eating to care for us. We were the only people in the ER and it took 4 hours and all they done was 3 X-rays that’s piss poor and I’ll never go back.
