Weis Pharmacy

I usually have a decent enough experience when I pick up a new prescription. The trick is to go right to the window right away, let them know that you're there and then you'll have your meds in a timely manner. If you wait like a good person and go to the window 35 minutes after script was sent you'll have to wait another 20 or so minutes. Today, tho, as I sit here on the bench waiting, it's been over an hour. When the nice older woman helped me, I told her and showed her the time my print out was sent to them. I waiting 30 minutes in line, for a totally of 47 minutes before I even hit the window. The guy working there, made a snotty face when he misheard the woman say I'm at the window since 445pm, now it's 451pm not that it's been ~45 minutes after the script was sent. He heard wrong and

I’m giving the pharmacists and techs five stars because they are absolutely delivering the best work that they can do given that they are criminally understaffed. You can see them behind the counter doing good work. Is it a staffing issue? An employee retention issue? I am left to ponder these and other questions as I wait in 45+ minute lines. Corporate needs to do something or this store (named store of the year last year) will start to lose staff and customers. There are two other pharmacies in town with shorter lines. Figure it out, folks! When you do I will happily edit my review to rave about the improvement

Not my first bad experience but will be my last. Stopped by to pick up some allergy medicine. While Tech 1 was getting ready to ring it up, Tech 2 interrupted to rudely inform the person waiting in line behind me that I was last customer because they close at 5:00. Then she saw what I was buying and said, We can't ring that up now because it's not a prescription and it's after 5:00. I said, What time is it? The answer: 5:01. We open at 10:00 tomorrow. Don't go here. Down the street Walmart has better prices, better hours, and much, much better service. Will never go back to Weis Pharmacy.

There is often a long line at the pharmacy counter so you should expect to wait. I have had a couple times where I ordered a re-fill through their robotic system over the phone and then when I showed up to pick it up, discovered it never actually registered in their system... The staff is great- the star rating is not a negative reflection of them.

Scripts are almost never filled when you get there to pick it up, this is after a few hours too. Went there one time and kept getting told it'll be 10 - 20 minutes only for the tech to never fill the script, this happened 3 times, I promptly left and got the script sent to MedOne with zero issues. They are constantly having stock issues, sometimes only having 1 pill with little indication of when they will get more. The only upside is they are open at hours other pharmacies aren't. Get your meds elsewhere.
